About BSCM
The British Society of Chinese Medicine (BSCM) was founded in 2005 with the goal of promoting the knowledge of Chinese Medicine, its cultural roots and background, scientific research, and its place in the modern world. Our society aims to educate and inform the public about the benefits of Chinese Medicine and its role in maintaining health and wellbeing.
It is our aim to bring together the best minds in the Chinese medicine and wider community, drawing their expertise from teaching, scientific research and culture. We wish to play a key role in promoting the knowledge, wisdom and power of Chinese medicine, to help build a deeper understanding of its cultural roots and history, how it works and the research being conducted in the field.

Our Goals
The British Society of Chinese Medicine has been founded by expert minds from fields within Chinese and Western Medicine, including clinical and scientific research, education and teaching, and cultural heritage and history.
The principle aim of the BSCM is to promote the wisdom, knowledge and power of Chinese Medicine, and its four pillars, Acupuncture, Herbal Medicine, Tui Na and Qi Gong. Ensuring the availability of knowledge developed and refined over the ages is crucial to ensuring the future survival, growth and evolution of Chinese Medicine.
